Refilling OEM Cartridges for Epson Pro 4000

Two nozzles are blocked. Light Magenta and Yellow. Technician performed cleaning similar to what you did - no results. You are lucky. I can use this printer for B&W work but it getting clumsy in my office. Epson stopped manufacturing this head a few years ago. What a pity! Nicholas

I own a 3880 Too.. but its not as easy with the paper managenment and refilling since you need original cartrige chips..
If you have a steady business you should direct go to Epson 4880, since the 4900 is not a option due to its instant printhead clogging...

I bought my sP4000 for an ridiciolous amount 150 EUR incl. shipping

Cone Inks from US considered to be the best on the market of 3rd Party Inks and their refillable cartridges according to instructions not that difficult to refill. Chips from original cartridges coming with printer can be used, so I do not see it as a problem.

The 4880 is sturdy and with its autocutting and roll paper option its ok.. I guess i will soon sell my 4000 and 3880 unit to buy me a used 4880
