I notice this thread started off down the over-saturation angle for a bit but as a rule if the cartridge is dripping repeatedly then it's far more likely to be an air leak.
Ruling that out with some tape over the fill-hole is probably the first port of call and aluminium tape is ideal although electricians tape will do as a temporary measure at a pinch.
From then any oversaturation will dribble out until the cartridge stabilises or provide a clue that there's a secondary air leak somewhere in the cartridge (not to be confused with a German method refill hole).
Just a thought from a troubleshooting perspective.
