Hi everyone this is Laz . I am trying to start my inkjet refilling business in Miami. (Dam it another competitor)

I bought all my refilling tools and acquired a few hundreds of empty cartridges for the start. I would like to ask you guys about the printers for testing the cartridges.

I have a Hp 3747 type printer that is working with the Hp 27 and Hp 28 cartridges and I also can fit the Hp 56 and Hp 57 cartridges in it but when I try to print with the 56-57 cartridges it gives me an error message that the cartridge type is wrong.

Is there any way to go around this or I have to buy an other printer for these type of cartridges?

Also does anyone know what is the best printer for the Hp 94,95,96,97 and 99 cartridges? Is there a printer that could test all of these?

And I also would like to fund a suitable printer for the Hp 41, 78, 17 and 23 cartridges? I can fit all of these in my Deskjet *70CXi printer but it only prints with the Hp41 cartridge. The rest of them gives me an error message.

I will appreciate any help and opinion, Thank You Laz.

Hi!

For the HP 17 and 23 you need something in the 700/800 series
like say 890C, 710C, and many others
The HP 17 is a low ink version of the HP23.

HP41 came first out, then was upgraded to HP23 (Photoret II), and finally upgraded to HP78 (Photoret III)
They are not interchangable, but look very much alike.

The HP 78 cartridge is used in the 900 series and higher, and many other printers

You can use the HP DeskJet 5550 for the 56,57,21,22,58,27,28
You can use the HP DeskJet 5740 for all the 90's series cartridges
For some reason you can interchange with these two models as to how I would not know but these two machines are what we us.

Hi,

Just want to update user here.
HP PSC 1410 cannot use 27, 28 and 56, 57. It only accept 21 and 22.

Anyone here can let me know HP any PSC printer can accept all 21, 22, 27, 28, 56, and 57 carts? How about PSC 1315?
Also any PSC printer can accept 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97 carts?

I am looking for those PSC printer as it is much easier to do test print.

Thanks
