Wow, this is FASCINATING!

I mean, the tech isn't new, but the fact someone did a DIY version is amazing!

Also, hacking a standard HP printer cartridge in a totally different machine... I'd love to see a video on just that alone!

Not sure that the Oasis is a complete functions project yet, so @The Hat you have plenty of time to build done :)

After watching it again I can see another use for it if it can be made to produce finer resolution. There is a whole branch of jewellery making that uses silver in a clay form which is really a binder with suspended silver particles. You mould the clay just like regular modelling clay and then once dried it is fired in a kiln and you have a pure silver part left. If the silver could be avaiabel in a dry form with the binder and printed it would open up lots more possibilities for design of unique jewellery, without having to resort to expensive casting processes.

Liked the axial images of the object as it was being printed at the end of the video. Looks like a CT or MRI was done.
