Place entire printer on a "tray" for safety's and convenience sake?

I had an idea of placing the printer and the six external tanks on some kind of tray. Like some kind of "serving tray" or call it a drip tray of some sort?

Why: just being overly cautious, in case ink would leak plus make it easier to move and service the unit at some point in the future..

Has anyone done this - what I'm thinking?

yes i have my ciss sat in a baking tray at the side of printer i too am cautious
ya never know dealing with plastic for the past 30yrs you learn it can crack or the joint
split at any time it dont need a reason
