I dont know if you know, but as far as I know the artisan 725 is an all dye ink printer.
Even if you wanted to get pigment ink for it there are no bulk pigment ink suppliers in the EU.. :|

The Artisans when combined with proper pigment inks will do a better job than the Sp1400 with pigment inks. The problem will be that switching from photo to matte is a near impractical task. Otherwise, the Artisan makes a superb pigment printer...if you look carefully, it's like a scaled down R3000 that is defeatured. This might point to the future of the SP1400 replacement which should be due soon. It's time anyways as it is getting old and slow. The problem is that it will infringe a bit on the R2880 territory at a very low price.

When I profiled it, I could live with it as long as my media was always using one type of black and my media was feedable through the cassette arrangement. The aspect of not being able to switch from Matte to Photo Black and vice versa must be carefully weighed. The cartridges used for these printers in Europe are the same as those used for the SP1400 in NA.

i want use inktec / ocp inks. i can't buy mis in europe because expedition price with "dogana" (customs) are much expensive.

in italy, canon mg8120 costs 280 euro / 400 dollars... with amazon mg8120 costs 200 dollars  i can't buy for restrictions.... and because shipment price costs 150 dollars......

inktec and ocp doesn't produce pigment inks for artisan 725/835 but produce pigment inks for other epson printers : )
I can buy an ink (ocp - inktec) developed for another Epson printer?

Trying to source quality Bulk pigment inks in the EU is completely out.
You could try:- http://store.inkjetcarts.us for your ink.
The shipping costs are very low as they use US Mail and not International couriers for deliveries to the EU,
it would be worth it just to log on and see what's on offer..
