@Rbu good luck with the Glop you purchased and I do hope it doesn’t cause you to have paper jams in your machine, but if you do then you’ll at least know the reason, the OEM Glop is best.

Don’t be tempted to use the OEM Glop in any cartridge other than the large PGl-9 clear tank, which is completely separate from your print head, using it in any of the 4 colour cartridges will cause head damage..

OK, thanx.
(infortunately 123inkt doesn't sell to France, but you're right the price difference isn't worth the risk for the printer...)

The iX7000 is probably the fussiest Canon printer I’ve had, change one thing and everything can go wrong..

Up to now I'm quite happy with it. In fact I was sad that Canon stopped selling it...
Hope it will last some more pages :)

I own and use nearly every day the little brother: the all-in-one MX7600.
A bit fuzzy maybe but once you know it is very reliable. Have a spare just in case.
Had a (nearly new) IX7000 for a short time but it was really too big and I had no use for two-sided A3, and the photo quality was too poor compared with the PRO9500, so I recovered the printhead for my MX7600 and gave it away with the old head (because nobody wanted to pay for it).

I don't know if it is a Canon name, but it looks like it is from "GLoss OPtimizer"
