Panasonic laser copier/printer; bad toner or dirty drum blade?

Ok, you are talking about the Drum unit, NOT the cartridge that holds just the toner. The wiper blade and toner drum itself, unless that machine has a entirety different design.

If the drum is on separate cart then it has its own cleaning blades and rollers of various kinds, these problems usually are not possible to resolve easily if second known good part is not available and you take risk for swapping parts like rollers etc. With old printers you must have at least 2 sets of all major parts or better have another printer so you can swap parts.

This model came out around 2007. I do have a 2nd copier/printer, but the document feeder doesn't pull paper in properly. I just never opened it up to clean the rollers since it isn't easy to do so. Opening the main unit is even worse. I do have the Service Manual, one thing I do make it a point to obtain when it is available.
There isn't one for the drum unit. :mad:
