Just think, If “AI” takes over the forum, we wouldn’t have to post anymore, it would do it for us, and we’d all be come spectators.. Freedom and expression will be null and avoid..

Note that some versions of Windows apparently refuse to load it as it isn't "Code Signed"

Got it to work the second time round, Windows blocked it and then allowed it, last time it was “Norton”..

Further to my post above I found a nice App (Mesh Mix-S2C) that will take a STL, 3MF, OBJ mesh file and output it as a step file. It can be opened and edited in CAD programs such as Fusion, SolidWorks, FreeCAD or Onshape.

I've tested it on a couple of STL and it worked great.

There are so many out there. I don't even know if I've already posted about this one or not. LOL!

Only being going for about 10 days still adding features but looks very promising and can run in a browser as well as the usual OS.

I think this one will be close to the features that Fusion 360 provides as far as design goes and it's open source, so no need to store your designs on company owned cloud server.

A tutorial that shows the capabilities...
