My Canon MX 926 just turned it self of and want restart. So I assume it is a mother board problem.

I had been using ARC cartridges that I refilled my self. I am after a new printer that has ARC cartridges available for them. Does anyone know what current printer/scanners that have ARC cartridges available.

I believe that protestant here in Australia are numbered differently to the USA. I think my MX 926 was the MX 922 in the USA

I did look at the idea of an inktank printer but I do not print often enough to stop the heads from drying.

Any help would be appreciated

If you need an all singing and dancing printer that doesn’t mind been unused for a little while, that can be refilled and use ARC chips, then do so Googling on the Maxify range, it’s a real hard worker and will make a good replacement for your current model..

So I can get ARC cartridges for all the Maxify range printers ?
There are only two types of carts for the Maxify the standard size and the larger size and the ARC chips cover both, each model of printer use one size or the other they are not interchangeable, so choose wisely…
P.S. you can also refill the OEM carts and fit the ARC chip to them..;)

I don’t know what your hurry is, but you have enough ink in those big carts to last quite some time, and another sweet thing about the Maxify is you can continue to use the OEM chips by disabling the ink monitoring without causing mayhem with cleaning cycles..

Just enjoy the new printer for now and look into the ARC later… ;)
