I have a Canon Pro-1 the problem I am having is I can use the printer using the USB cable fine, but when I try using the printer using the Ethernet cable I can not get a connection to the printer?
I have try disabling the firewall and antivirus software . I am using a desktop windows 7 64 bit OS, and connecting the printer into a Verizon FIOS router

Try powering off the printer and then removing the USB cable from the back.

Next install the Ethernet plug in the slot provided and turn on the printer, if asked install the Canon CD disc and allow the setup.exe to run or better still the Win setup can also do it for you correctly..

1-try look in your router if your printer is listed or not ? (in DHCP clients list)
2-install printer over network.(by click on computer network, r.click on printer icon, install)
3-try setup your printer using Ethernet connection without using USB cable.
