Need help with a clogged 1100d

What company do you get your ink through (or do you get it direct from Image Specialists)? For all I know, MIS sent the wrong ink entirely. I could have gotten Ultrachrome equivalent instead of HP ink. Or it could be that the refillable cartridges don't work properly - do you just refill the OEM carts? I'd really love to be able to continue to use refills, but I don't want to ruin another printhead. I just bought a new one and an OEM black tank off of eBay. The buildup surprised me too, there was a /lot/ of ink hardened onto it.
 
I give up on this printer. now the Cyan and Yellow carts are reading at Zero, I suspect the use of the auto-reset chip in the black slot caused the printer to screw up the other ones. So I'd have to buy an OEM black, Cyan, and Yellow cart, on top of the new printhead.

I really don't know what happened, it's like everything is breaking at once. The printer's only a year and a half old, so it should last a lot longer than this. I'm just glad I got it on clearance.
