My EPSON R2000 doesn´t turn on

Hello. My EPSON R2000 doesn´t turn on.
First, I installed a new set of cartridges. Then I wanted to print something from my computer and once it started printing, the printer turned off. This happened 2 times in a row. Then I turned it on again and it kept turning off before the power button stopped flashing after truning it on. After a few times of trying to keep it turned on, it just didn't turn on again.
Everyhting time it went off, the head moved to the left side quickly and then turned off.
I don´t know what to do, is it broken or something?
This printer is new, I bought it 2 weeks ago. Serial No.: PBYY000621

So... Call Epson?
Should be able to get a new one right quick from them.
And why in the world would publish your printer serial number for the world to see?
I can go to the Epson registration page and register it as mine couldn't I?
Seriously call them and they should be able to take care of you!

Try replacing the power cord and see if that helps.

Checking if reliable power is available is often overlooked in troubleshooting, so also check the power outlet and possible extension cords powering your printer, for instance by using a lamp.
