Recently I reset my printer but just pressing the stop button for 5 seconds and it says that the black is very low. I am assuming that the printer is not using the blacks because it is very green. I was scanning and printing B&W photos and on both settings: B&W and color and I got the same results.

What do I need to do? Does too much green mean that there is no black or its not using black or is that another color? Do I need the peach resetter to make it work properly again?

Thanks in advance guys and gals

Don't think it matters but I got a none canon gray ink cartridge.

I presume you do use the advanced B/W mode in your printer so the printer is only using the photoblack + grey cartridge to print the photo's. Did you execute a nozzle check first if the black + grey are functioning well ? If so then it could be the non canon gray ink is the problem and is giving a colourcast.
