Pigment black text prints out of alignment. Pictures/graphics print excellently. I've done the auto print head alignment and then the manual head alignment to no avail. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem or is it time to look for a new printer? The problem is particularly bad printing bar codes for shipping labels (see attachment)

Please print a nozzle check, scan and crop it, and post.

Have you tried cleaning the timing strip yet?

I get perfect nozzle prints
I'm not trying to make work for you. We've had people say their nozzle print was perfect but it wasn't when they finally posted it. :idunno

I use a systematic approach to unknowns which typically includes starting from the start - a nozzle check - unless I am absolutely sure what the issue is.

Since you said manual and auto-alignment did not help, my first thought was irreparably warped nozzles - is this Pigment Black being used? - and then dirty timing strip.

Yes, it is pigment black problem. I cleaned timing strip with no results. I'm done messing with this, I'll just get a new printer if I can find one that uses Precision Colors ARC's and ink. Any recommends? Thanks so much for your help!
