Resolved by Unchecking "reverse pages"

original issue:

I have been trying to narrow down an issue:
I have several PDFs that are about 18 pages long(for wifes hobby)> I want to print them double sided and bind them in a folder.( i want an extra margin on the left hand side of each(front and back) page to accomodate the fact this will be hole punchedand secured in a three ring folder(not a binder)).

These print normally if i print one sided in either Foxit or Adobe reader.
From menu click print:
dialouge opens and choose properties/page setup
i checkmark
Duplex Printing
and
Automatic
Stapling side is : Long side stapling -Left
then i click "specify Margin" and set it to .8

the issue:

When i print the first page has the additional margin on the left side.
BUT the second page on the back side, the .8 additioanal margin is added to the RIGHT side of that page which "pushes" it under the area the would be hole punched or stapled.
I CANNOT find a way to stop this from happening.

If i print each page individually(not duplex) with the margin set at .8 all pages print with the margin on the left side.

Any insight?
