My HP all in one inkjet printer just died. Lasted over 15 years. Looking for a new one. I know a lot of people are going away from inkjet(cartriges), but although they need replacing more often and can dry up and clog the printer, I've seen that they are the best for printing color photos. I am looking for an all in one printer that has everything my HP had. I have read that HP printers are not that good and a lot of people do not like them. I am looking for one that has print, scan, copy, auto paper feed, auto duplex, really good color photo printing, decent print speed, LCD touch screen that has print preview and shows ink levels. Would also like it to have bluetooth(wireless) , have USB port and SD slot if possible. Looking to spend not much more than $300. Less if possible. Any suggestions?

Check out the Canon Maxify range, they may not suit, but it’s a start..

Hi Kathy, it would help to know the printer you used to have. I used to have an HP8620, and it was a workhorse for its intended use until it finally gave up the ghost. Today's printers have a wide range of capabilities and costs, including printing speed. Do you need anything larger than 8.5x11 print, and when you do photos, are they just for casual use? What is your annual printing volume, i.e., the number of 8.5x11 pages printed per year?
Typically, the print quality of ink cartridges and eco tanks is not that different. Eco Tank pays itself back quite quickly in many cases unless you are just an occasional printer.

Based on your extra inputs, I suggest giving a look at one of these two printers.
One thing to watch out for is that new units are being sold as well as refurbished (usually at a lower cost). At this price range I suggest verifying you are buying new.

So looking at the Epson Expression premium xp 7100, there seem to be a lot of problems with it. It jams a lot and constantly goes offline. I have also been seeing that the newer Epson printers are not that good and many problems. The canon Pixma TR8620a has alot of problems as well. The print head clogs a lot and loses wi fi a lot. Also hard to connect and print with phone. I need to order a printer and just need something that will work well enough and ink that is not super expensive.
Have been searching online, looking at different printers and either lots of problems, super expensive ink or printer is really expensive. Other suggestions?
