I am currently using original Epson Semi Gloss 250 gsm A2 sheets for printing large pictures, but I am seeking for an equally good pearl/satin instant dry photo paper for my Epson Pro 3880 and P800 printers. Any tips for bargains on ebay or other sites (who are EU-based) ?

you may be better off looking for 17", or 16" if available, roll paper which would give you a wider choice to choose from

or

You should order their sample packs before you buy any larger format packs and test them together with your choice of inks. I have seen wide differences in performance - from pretty to mediocre look - strong bronzing etc .
I like the silk/satin paper by Fotospeed , and they have more
https://www.fotospeed.com/Fotospeed-Photo-Quality-Paper/catalogue/1142/I wouldn't really go for the pricing low end, you'll find there cast coated papers which look pretty dull with pigment inks, they just may be o.k. with dye inks.
