For the last few years, I have been helping out friends with wedding and party invitations. I would like to start doing this on a bit bigger scale now that I am a stay-at-home mom with our new baby. I currently have a run of the mill HP inkjet printer and know nothing about laser printers. I have a problem with drying time and smearing when it comes to printing on smooth paper like shimmer paper or vellum. So, I thought maybe a laser printer was the way to go, but I read they only use paper specific for them because of how they dry the ink. Is this true or can I use a laser printer with most any cardstock or paper type? Thank you!
