Is there any way to deal with cross contamination in my hp 57?

Hi all just a couple of questions if you dont mind i brought 6 hp 57 cartridges of ebay and there all printing the wrong colours (great) i just wounderd is there any way to fix this at all,theres got to be some way or am i wrong if any 1 could help it would be much appreciated?thanks in advance john

I once had a printer that used56/57/58 cartridges. I had a cross contamination problem with a 57 cart. I taped a thick wad of paper towels to the head a couple of times to wick all the ink out of it. I then refilled it with water and repeated the wicking till all the water was out. I then refilled it. Took a couple of days but not a lot of hands on time.
