Ok, I bought some Print-Rite ink from the local dealer but they don't have pigment... they say its too expensive. Anyway is it possible for me to use the print rite black dye ink in my IP3680's pigment cartridge?

Thanks

I wouldn't use a dye ink where a pigment ink is specified. However, black is black, any other pigment black ink designed for Canon printers will do just fine, such as Precision Colors or Hobbicolors. These inks are pure pigment black ink and it won't smear when a highlighter is used on it. Especially don't use an ink designed for Epson printers.
