Hello
at first I am sorry for my bad English .
we need to print (ink jet) boxes at 4 sides in Production line.
We understand printing boxes in one time is inexpensive and Rotation of boxes for printing bottom of them is very expensive of temporal , energy , monetary and other terms.
Now :
is existent inkjet printhead that it can print in inverse position (Upward) for bottom boxes printing?
What type of inkjet printhead must be used ?
Can ink drops move Upward ؟!
how many maximum distance need between box surface and printhead tip?
What i need to know for doing this work ?

Thank those who help me
:)

Saleh - are these cardboard or paper boxes? Most are printed while flat and then folded into shape as boxes.

Hi Saleh_chz
There are no inkjet printers that can print upside down as yet simply because they need gravity to assist them to work.
But there is however a one colour portable hand held inkjet printer that works in just about any position.

Click on the link below and see if this is suitable for the type of work that you want to do..:)

hi dear The Hat
why printheads need gravity ? (i am sorry if my question is silly !)
i read many web page about printhead technologies and understand for example thermal or piezo printhead shoot the ink drop (with 6 to 9 m/s speed) and Chinese people have made printer can print at wall ! (from about 12 cm distance)
it is self-explaining for me that gravity is Effective on ink drops but can gravity stop drop Reaching to the wall or under box ?
What will if i rotate a printhead for (silly) test ? in the printhead is no air (typically) that make a mistake for Fluid.
we can optimize assembly and cartridge for correct position to Fluid can move correctly.
What is your opinion?

i am sorry , i cant open the link (Access limitation). can you mail target for me ? (Courteous)

best regards

Saleh_chz why printheads need gravity ?
In regards to the gravity issue, all modern inkjets sold on the open market dont work upside down.
There is however specialists printers that will and are mainly for industry and large volume users.

A normal inkjet printer only uses water based inks, where as the Commercial inkjet printer use oil, synthetic or acrylic inks
which are not safe to use in the average home or office environment.

As you are having trouble with the YouTube link then try cutting and pasting this into Google for the direct link.. :)

Handjet are indeed only one colour not monochrome they also can use several different colours.
If you still want to get a CYMK printer then be prepared to pay for it. good luck..

I know Roland make all sorts of usual printers but they are very expensive.. :(

The word monochrome usually means black in print terms so this type of printer would be called a single colour.

If you need more than one printed colour at a time then have two or three of these printers.
Going back to your original box print problem, can you not print the boxes before filling them ?

Then you could achieve the CYMK youre looking for using this method..:)
