inkl levels in a mac

installed a mp530 in a mac laptop, however when i try to acess the ink levels there is no information, is this normal on a mac as i am used to PCs thanks

hello i am using osx on the mac after looking through the manual i can not find if the ink monitor works with the macs any help thanks

Have you installed the latest Mac OSX drivers available on this page:

Make sure you select the Mac OS to see them.

yes the drivers are current, canon responded on how to "locate" the monitor, so now i know it is there and working, however it doesn't popup like a pc when you print i may have to tweek a setting or 2
