I just received an i860 Canon from a seller. I can't get it recognized by my computer. I've installed the software that came with it, though I thought it should have worked on my other i860 software. I've also used the printer cord that came with it. The printer comes on but my computer says printer is offline. Have I missed some important step? My other i860 was working fine. I unplugged it and plugged in the later one. It said Offline, so I installed the software, replaced the cord. Still offline.

Getting Fingers Dirty
Have you tried "Control Panel" - "Printers" - Right click on your printer and untick "Use Printer Offline"
