i860 going downhill fast

Help! Problem started with low inkwarning. Then, first time, I refilled my cartridges and after many attempts got all colors working. had lost 6y completly. Then 3bk started dropping out spots, refilled, many test pages later, better, but not quit right! So I then went to Cannon and pulled latest driver. Now printer claims it has a paper jam in the paper ejection slot, three short yellow, one long green lights. There is no jam, I have reinstalled original drivers that came with printer
