i need a printer that with print on 3mm media! Any thoughts?!

Hi,
Im looking for a printer that will print (inkjet) onto foam-board/blasa wood that is 3mm thick.

I've found a printer that will print on 1.5mm thickness for £200. but the next thickness up seems to jump to about 50mm thickness which as a result then costs about £2000!!
I just need a printer to print on 3mm

any thoughts???

Some Epson printer models can be modified into flatbed printers. You could try googling "pcb printer" and "diy flatbed printer" without the " ". You will find many suggestions.
