Hello! I have an et-2720. It’s got sublimation ink in it. I’m an idiot and didn’t use it for a month. The Cyan got clogged. The nozzle check was ok for other colors but awful for the cyan. So I did head cleanings (like a lot) then a power clean which also didn’t help. Tried taking it apart and flushing it. Then more cleanings. Then the damper thing was empty so I used a syringe to pull ink back into there. Tried purge pages. Blank. What else can I do?

I regret that this happened to you, that's a problem with non-standard inks and letting the printer idling so long w/o printing. You did all the flushing and cleaning which are typical actions for blocked nozzles but apparently w/o success in your case. The last step would be a printhead replacement for which I recommend you to contact Epson service.

So I know in theory this wouldn't be covered under warranty, unless I lie, which really, I am not good at lol. How much would this run? Or am I better off just buying a new one?

Just contact Epson service, they should have a pricelist for such typical actions like printhead replacement, and you can decide then what you are going to do.

Normally I'd recommend trying to get the printer working with parts, etc.. but dye-sub in something like an ET-2720 is a hide to nothing. This is one of those, "learning experiences" you don't repeat again unless you like haemorrhaging cash.

My guess is that Epson would quote you for more than the printers worth for a new printhead btw, hence the suggestions.
