Thought I'd check to see if anyone else had come across this issue...
I've a few school IT techs reporting problems with their HP K850 printers where they appear to have used a 3rd party cartridge and promptly hit problems with the head failing after a days use.
I'm guessing that the K850 printheads are similar in design to the HP88's in that they contain ink in them and that it's likely that the ink from the cartridge is reacting badly with the ink in the head causing a clog or simply that the ink in the cartridge is poor quality and clogging regardless.
Anyone got any input on this?
