HowTo? Remove plastic ball from CLI-8 inlet port?

If you leave the original plug alone you don't feel it exists and it will never bother you. I just drill another whole through the thin plastic shell and use the hobbicolor plug. My cartridges never leaked. The plugs are small. If you have big hands handling may be a problem to you.
