How to determine the current top-selling cartridges?

We have a retail store and want to expand our ink/toner supplies. My question is, How do I determine the printers that are best-selling out there and the cartridges that would sell the best? We don't want to stock the printers, but I think that knowing which printers sell best would point us in the right direction for cartridges. Currently we sell some inks for hp, Canon, Epson and Brother. Trying to decide stock by tracking customer demands makes us reactive and we'd like to be more proactive.

I would start with Amazon, they maintain list of all products listed by sales, updated hourly. it can be a very useful research tool. For example-

Not really . Actually, I love Amazon and have done alot of shopping there for years. I have Amazon Prime so most all shipping is free. Usually they have great prices, no sales tax, and a great review section. A good place to research your purchases. I realized I linked the carts but figured you could work your way over to the best selling printers. One thing to watch for in a top selling item is a lot of reviews. Good luck.

Thank you. Actually, I meant that it seems silly that I didn't think of that. We have Prime also and find the prices often beat our wholesalers.
