I currently own an Epson SC P800 my first from Epson and a couple of everyday A4 Canon printers.
Have been through many printers over the years the last Photo printer being an HP B9180, which was built like a tank but finally gave up after many years of use. I did not consider a replacement from HP as I think 'they dropped the ball' at least for prosumer models. So my choices between Canon and Epson. A difficult choice to make but the Epson won out at the time due to the roll paper printing and my impression was that Epson had improved the infamous clogging issues - so far that seems to be the case
Only a minimum amount of experience with refilling (stains only just gone from my fingers
) and just a little experience taking printers apart to repair - and sometimes when I put them back together they worked
I am looking forward to learning more and if possible contributing occassionally.
Regards to all
