Hello everyone !

I know most of you are Canon users, but just in case someone here have the epson R200, r220, r300 or r320 and is using G&G carts (or any other formulabs filled carts), do you have any working printer driver settings or profile to use with Kirkland paper ? I got OK colors after a bit of tweaking but still too far from Epson OEM. I would really like those carts to work as I prefer to pay 20$ for a set of 6 carts shipped instead of 120$ for OEM. And I don't have any money to invest in a color profiling device.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks !

I have an i-one scanner at work, and I am planning on trying out a set of these inks for our Epson R220. I can see about making a profile for them and send it to you when its done. Its going to be several weeks before then though.

I am pretty sure that G&G prefilled cartridges from inkgrabber.com for Canon printers do not contain Formulabs ink. I don't know about Epson compatibles. Where did you learn that G&G cartridges have Formulabs ink in them?

To extremefire : Thanks very much for your help. No matter if it takes a while, I am ready to wait. Let me know when you have the profile/settings ready. Thanks again !

To ghwellsjr : I guess I assumed it was Formulabs since ink is made in USA and I am pretty sure it is not Image Specialist/MIS. Also, when I used to own a Canon, I remember reading on Neil's website about his formulabs test with the color charts and the CD label. But now, he mentions G&G instead of formulabs but the test images and comments are the same. If it is not formulabs, do you know which ink it is (even for Canon). Thanks!

Where would anyone recommend getting G&G carts. The only place I saw them specifically listed was alotofthings.com. Didn't know if someone recommended somewhere else.

Thanks.

Formulabs ink is non existent as of today. The trade name may be still owned by another business but there is no longer inks brand named as Formulabs. G&G sells poor quality ink cartridges made in China. I have had many bad experiences using their products before. When will people learn to avoid Chinese products, particularly ink cartridges and inks?
