Hi
Following Neil's exhaustive testing and advice (thanks Neil), I just purchased a batch of G&G cartridges from Ink World here in the UK, for my newly acquired i9950.
Firstly, although there is a 'use before' box on the boxes, none of them have a date printed. Secondly, there are two types of cartridge; the first type are similar in construction to the OEM, while the second type have a larger proportion of ink reservoir, with only a thin 1/2" wide sponge running top to bottom, a separate clip for fixing into the printer, and the tear off strip is at the top front rather than rear; this type do not have a 'vacuum seal' on their bags, atleast not now, and one has actually leaked inside it's bag. It's not just between different colours either; I have one of each type cartridge in cyan.
Is this normal? Should I be worried?
I would appreciate any thoughts on this before I try them..
