If anyone has info on this or knows where on this forum I can find the proper way to flush a MP990 printhead, I would be grateful.

I need to know how to properly secure the cartridges so they won't leak while I'm flushing the printhead.

Do I need to purchase clips for the 220/221 carts? Or, is there a homemade way to secure them so they won't leak while they are out of the machine?
Do you use distilled water or tap water for this? Or, is there a solution that's better than water?

Thanks to all for your help here.

Here are a few ways to clean a print head and seal a cartridge that I found by just using the search button above,
it works great you should try it too..:)

Thank you for the links. Sorry to be such a nuisance, but I'm apparently not as good at searching as you are. I'll try not to ask so many questions and do better searches. It must get old for all you masters of refilling to get the same dumb questions all the time from us newbies. Again, sorry and thank you for your patience and help.
