Ninestar (G&G), Peach, Pelikan should start shipping those carts from beginning May this year. Chances are very likely that the introduction prices will be high still (maybe 70-80 % of original Canon CLI-8/PGI-5 cartridges). No information are given if these chips can be reset......

TBH.. I'm wondering if Canon aren't smiling and congratulating themselves for forcing aftermarket manufacturers to admit (through their pricing) that there are development costs and it's about time the aftermarket types faced up to it.

No it's the useless nazi circuit they added which does nothing but cause more problems. The older thinktank worked just fine for years.

The carts and ink that go into printer cost $2-3 and get sold retail for $14....lots of profit built in.
