Canon is the fastest. The HP you've pointed is working in draft mode. Besides, did you notice how awfully NOISY it is?
The engine of these printers is utterly flawed. I bought one of them in 1999 (the HP2000C shown in my avatar picture) and I had nothing but problems. In the end, the printer started resetting perfectly good new original cartridges and I lost a fortune to it. I ordered a new ink supply station from HP and repaired it myself. It worked fine for 2 months. Then suddently it informed me that one of my printheads had a problem and had to be replaced. I unplugged the damn thing and threw it away.
I would never buy an expensive HP printer / multifunctional. HP is great for cheapos. Nothing beats their PSC13xx family in performance/price ratio. But once we start talking about speed, quality and professional usage, HP sucks.
