In a few days, I will be leaving town for two months. Does it make sense to pull the head on my Pro-10 and flush it with Pharmacist's preservation fluid. Then return it to service when I get back?

TIA,

Certainly not, the Pro 10 can and will look after its own head far better than you can, and when you return, just run the head agitation and a nozzle check and everything will be like you'd never left… ;)

Fantastic, thanks for the info. I'm familiar with head agitation though. I don't find that in the utilities.

The printer will agitate enough after 2 months from itself.
Never tested 2 months, but 1 month never was a problem.
Switch it on and print a nozzle check just before leaving to minimise the inactivity period to be sure.
