Thanks, Martin; I'll see how that works and contact Mr. Entlich. I see that another UK chap, at http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/inkjet_cleaning.html , talks about using a "kitchen roll." What is that, in Americanese, please? Have you seen his site and suggestions? Wonder what your opinion of them is.

Kitchen roll is just kitchen towel made for use in kitchens (surprisingly enough) to wipe up liquid spills, etc...

Sort of toilet roll but wider and thicker.

We call that "paper towels". Kitchen rolls sound like something you would eat, although we never use that term.

And toilet roll we call toilet paper--not something you would eat.

so sorry to wake an old thread up, but after a few hours of going through threads in search for proper priming/flushing epson compatible cartridges, this particular post made me laugh!
