Hi everyone,

My Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630 has worked flawlessly for 10 years, but now started to print streaks.

Sympton :
When printing in black-white mode, I get colour strikes (magenta).

I have already done the following, but none of them to any avail :
Epson cleaning procedure (from printer menu)
I have cautiously manually cleaned the surface of the flushing head (where the T6710 maintenance box is inserted).

Question :
Before I start looking for a replacement printer (which I would like to avoid since scanning, emailing, still works fine), I would appreciate any advice for this particular problem.
Probably a clogged printerhead, or would there be a real defect ?
For what I can see, the printerhead carriage is not accessible, so I am not sure what else I can do to clean without risk of damaging the printerhead.
Maybe it is possible to disable color printing mode at all, since I mainly use black-white printing only.

Specs :
Epson WF-4630 Pro
Model C511A
Firmware GM30KA 51.15
No error messages
Genuine ink
21000 pages printed

Thank you

There might be clogged nozzles, but the magenta stripes and triangles look to me like they are caused by an electronic defect. If you are very lucky they are caused by a corrupted driver, so you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer or installing the printer on another computer.
