I'm looking to get a Epson Stylus R280 Photo Printer CIS and I've found three CIS systems online. I'd like to know if anyone has opinions about the various systems. I've never used a CIS before so I'm looking for simplicity of installation as well as reliability, and low cost is never a bad thing.

The systems I've found so are the following:

Right... the Ink Republic kits seem to have the best solution as far as the chips are concerned.. ie: you don't have to remove the cartridges to get them to reset, instead you have a little press switch that acts as if that's what you've done. I couldn't comment on the actual kits for IR or the others but one thing you want to be 100% sure of, is whether the chips really do support the R280 and not some other continents variation... It does, apparently make a difference.

Any other thoughts?
Yep... MIS Associates.. ie: www.inksupply.com seem to have a variant of this too. Ink is good quality and they provide good support...
