Hi guys,

I've got my epson px700w printer - and i want to setup my pc to print wireless.

It's driving my crazy - because epson offers the drivers, utilities, etc -- but NOTHING i can see to actually get the wirless print working.

My printer has all the network settings right - i know this because i can print wirless from my laptop.
It shows up fine in the EpsonNet Config utility - i can see the printer.

I just cannot print!!!

I do not have the software on my pc to print. The driver will only let you set it up for usb.

When i originally had the epson cd that came with the printer - when installing the driver, you would get this option:

NetworkSetup4_ConnectionMethodl.jpg

This option is not avilable in the download driver.

Any help would be great thanks :)

I assume you have already installed the printer's drivers and it shows up as a USB printer in your list of attached printers.

Now try changing the printer's port from USB to network. The procedure varies depending on your version of Windows, but in Win 7 it is ...

1. Start -> "Devices and Printers"
(or Start -> Control Panel -> "Devices and Printers"

2. Right-click on your printer

3. Click "Printer Properties"

4. Click "Ports"

5. Click "Add port"

6. Click "Standard TCP/IP port"

7. Click "New Port"

8. The "Add New Port" Wizard starts -> Next

9. Enter your wireless printer's network name or IP address, and follow the rest of the prompts.

Disclaimer - not tested with a PX700W !
