Epson paper prints warm tone.

I got some free paper from my friend. Rather glossy and thick, says just "Epson Photo Paper" on the back. Not quite as glossy as Kirkland and .05 mm thinner but I find out of all my other brands this one is the most off when it comes to color. It is quite noticeably warmer, much more so than the slightly warm and pleasing tone of the cheapo Kodak paper. Is this just the nature of Epson paper?

Some Epson papers are designed to work with their DURABrite pigment-based inks and, as far as I am concerned, are not ideal for dye-based inks. See this link:

I have no idea if this is a factor for your paper.
