Yes, José's streamings are becoming a terrific cure for insomnia. :D

Would you bet a single a cent on the efectivity of those resetters? Not me. Time will tell.
I recall that José has been looking for months ( in vane ) to find a volunteer to try them, as he doesn't owns these 2 Epson models.

His subscribers don't seem to take a lot of initiative, they expect him to find everything out, not the same kind as on printerknowledge ;).

I might purchase an Epson P900 next year and give it a try. I have been hacking the Epson Pro 3800, 3880 now the P800 and maybe next year the P900. I was pretty impressed by the quality of Aliexpress.com pigment ink: good gloss (even for the difficult magenta inks), good gamut, low gloss differential. Only the photo black needs some tweaking.

Ali Express seems to have many brands of pigment inks

Ali Express seems to have several brands of pigment inks. Which was the one you have tested an liked? Isn´t it wonderful if the chip resetters and carts for the newest SC printers are working well? Has somebody tested theese items?

The ink I tested was this one:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32815951917.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.32284c4drM42uN

two things: the photo black is horribly matte looking, so I mixed 1/4 ocbestjet photo black with 3/4 of the too shiny ink of OCP photo black, the result is a good comprimise: glossy but not too shiny photo black. Als the LB (gray) ink is a bit too light causing ABW prints to be magenta looking (using a custom profile you can get perfect neutral B&W prints, but the ABW setting wil yield a magenta glow): you will have to tweak the LB ink with (OCP) PB to increase darkness. The rest of the inks are almost perfect to me, even the gloss of the (Light) Magenta ink: the most difficult ink for aftermarket pigment inks.

On occasion of another thread (Canon PRO-1000 refill) I checked the Farbenwerk site: the P700/900 resetter (€ 118) is in short supply, they only sell it with a complete starter set.

No experience with their inks, but their profiles for the PRO-10 had a very good gamut

I also would like to upgrade from my p800 to the p900. I read lot about good results on glossy paper for the Epson Ultrachreme Pro-10 inks. Is there a source of 3rd party refill inks which give similar good results on glosyy paper like the Epson Pro-10 inks?

Nobody? What do you experts think about the Black Enhance Overcoat-Technology? Can this be done with 3rd party ink sets or is there a secret in the Epson Pro-10 inks for this effect?
