Hello,
Hello,
My Epson Ecotank ET-4750 is experiencing an issue: when I try to print, it barely puts any ink on the page. Cleaning the printhead gets it working perfectly, but after about an hour, it stops printing ink again. This means I can only print right after cleaning the printhead.

It seems like there might be air in the ink lines or something similar, which temporarily resolves after cleaning but returns when the printer sits idle for a while.

Is this problem fixable? If so, what’s the best way to address it?

After a lot of use air tends to accumulate in the dampers (what would be cartridges in a non-tank printer) and the nozzles get starved of ink. You should try a power clean which is similar to the initial ink priming process.

How are your ink levels? My 3750 starts printing light when below 50%.

I've Gotten in the habit of always selecting 'best quality' as my machine has a few miles on it
