Epson 4900 clogging & cleaning

The Epson 4900 is a clogging monster.....everybody keeps telling me, but I will give it a try.
Cleaning with Ajax Kitchen works far better than Windex(Blue).
One damper is leaking and a new complete set of dampers has arrived.
After cleaning 1 of the functional dampers I am wondering if I should
replace all or just 1?
How is the quality of original Epson dampers compared to replacements?

Ok...will do....and store the dampers which is functional as spares and throw away the failure ONE

Yellow must be checked all the way from cartridge to nozzle.......it was solid inside printhead

If the printer has not have recent use and been sitting unused you can check for pigment clumping or pigment seperation from the ink carrier using a strong torch to check all of the ink lines otherwise the dampers are a final filter before the printhead.

Dampers should be replaced every couple of years for printers with moderate to heavy use, I wouldn't use old dampers again.

Are you using Epson inks or 3rd. party inks?
