Newbie to Printing

Hi I have brought a used Epson 7900 and been printing most evenings for 2 weeks. However tonight I could not get a decent print out of it at all.
I suppose the only change is that I left the roll paper loaded last night over night. Every other time I have removed the paper and bagged it up.
Its like its dragging ink across the page but only in what looks to be 2 colours although not very clear it is over the whole image but clear round the edges. I have scanned a strip showing whats happening.
The think the best way to explain the problem is to post a picture. Never seen this before and will be grateful for any thoughts.
