Thanks for that information. Yes its a great paper if you can lay your hands on it. whenever my local Lidl had some some guy was loading his trolley up with A4 and the check-out made no attempt to ration him when I protested there was none left on the shelf. The 6x4 glossy usually is available for a while once put on display.

The Sihl papers are quite expensive down here & I've never seen it at Aldi.

Could you not view the Lidl leaflet on line a fortnight in advance so youll know
when the photo paper is been offered and then you could get a trolley load of it yourself..

You could subscribe to Lidl's newsletter. Then you don't risk that they offer the photo paper the week you didn't check their offers online.

Also a good idea. just moaning that Traders snaffle these bargains like the trolleys full of chickens with oriental people pushing them. The shop only wants to shift their stock so it is understandable.

Lidl Denmark has photopaper from today. I checked Lidl UK and they also have photo paper from Monday: http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_38035.htm . I don't know if this is the Sihl paper, the package is different from the package used by Aldi. But if it is produced by Sihl, it should say so on the package.

Yes this the same paper. United Office on the back Sihl Gmbh on the rear. 50 sheets A4 for 4.99. Will check my local Lidl tomorrrow Snow permitting.

ac-concept a ebay seller does acutally resell Sihl papers without its original packaging
bought some Satin and glossy quick dry A4 sheets (500 x) and I am quite happy with it

Hi barfl2 and cls. Thanks for confirming that the Lidl paper is made by Sihl and for the E bay tip. Today I bought 4 packets from my local Lidl.

I wonder why Sihl or Lidl have not printed recommended printer settings on the package, You find these settings on the Aldi package. But they can also be found here: http://www.sihl.com/download/product/e/Printer_Settings_Photo_UltimatePhotoPaper.pdf .

Aldi and Lidl only offer this paper occasionally, so are there any online dealers? I have searched the web but found none.
