I'm replacing an HP printer that uses 56,57,58 cartridges with a Canon Pixma MP600. I have nearly full 2oz bottles of ink for the HP carts. Is it worth trying to save about $35 worth of ink and trying it in the Canon cartridges. All are dye based except the #56 black which is a pigment ink.I have a 4oz bottle of it and, unless the pigment size is too large, should work in the 5BK cartridge. All inks are from MIS Supply. Has anybody tried the chipped refilled cartridges from Atlantic Inkjet for $7.49/$8.49? If you fefill one of the CLI-8 or PGI-5BK cartridges after you get a low ink warning approximately how much more ink will it use, on average, before it realizes you have refilled and threatens you with the loss of warranty message? I'm wondering about the economy of buying Atlantic cartridges and adding ink to them as they get low until the warranty warning comes up.
Thanks

Yes... the Atlantic chipped compatibles work well, and you do not get a warranty warning.
