I’ve just had my first failure of the Cli-8 cart, I have been refilling these carts for years and never came across this issue before.
The cart was working in my printer two days ago, but I noticed I had to refill it after only a little bit of use, when I did get around to refilling it, I was getting ink on my fingers !
On further investigation, I found the cart was coming apart at the top, it had split away from the sides very slightly, enough to leak slightly onto my hands but it also must have been leaking when the head was parked after use.
I’ve highlighted the area in the photo where there is still some dried ink, just goes to show that these carts are not indestructible...
