Cleaning Pro-100 printheads

The printhead is QY6-0084. This printhead is also used in the Pro-200 model printer, so it can still be found at some regular dealers of Canon spare parts. See this and this.

Maybe the printheads are being phased out as there are dubious offers on the web at higher prices than from the regular dealers? It might be a good idea to buy a spare while they are available.

Big price difference between the British sites and the French vendor E-parts. Maybe in the UK they're importing them from the USA ?.
Whatever the reasons, It seems that nowadays Canon Pro printheads become more and more difficult to find from genuine sources, at least at reasonable prices. C1-supplies in Germany, the other reliable vendor in continental Europe, doesn't have them anymore.

I didn't know that September 6th. is Wicklow's April fools' day. :p

At this point, I don't care anymore about price or availability of these Canon Pro printheads.
When the printhead of my Pro-10s eventually fails, it's good-bye to the printer and I'll send for free the cartridges and remaining ink stock to whoever might need them. I mean it.

I bought from E-parts and C1-supplies in the past at very reasonable prices.
But since PRO-100/200 PRO/10/300/310 printheads seldom fail before the printer itself, Canon should have ample supplies.
Very strange...
